How do we keep our schools vibrant and safe?

Creating a safe learning space is an important part of giving our kids a great education.

Better funding will give schools more resources to make sure all students have an opportunity to succeed by providing:

  • Additional resource officers to enhance the safety of our schools
  • More school nurses and psychologists to ensure our kids emotional, physical, and mental health needs are met
  • School counselors to ensure our kids are receiving the best guidance to maximize student success

“Providing for school safety by providing a school resource officer at every middle school and high school is and has long been a priority of mine as your Sheriff. As parents we all know that safe schools make a healthy environment for learning. As a graduate of Palmer High School, an alumni I am asking you to join me and support the kids of D11.”

– El Paso County Sheriff Bill Elder
